Over a span of fifteen years, she has meticulously monitored and managed costs for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with a specific focus on personnel expenses through subsidised financial tools.
At Myèsis, she assists businesses and professionals with identifying and activating appropriate tax incentives. She guides them throughout their projects and expertly manages internal and external relationships.
Maria Laura Mele
Strategic Lead | Cofounder
She is a
researcher who studies how people interact with technology, exploring various
fields of application such as systems and processes.
Her primary
expertise lies in applied research on human-system interaction, with a
particular focus on developing innovative technologies for both public and
private sectors.
At Myèsis, she
is responsible for managing research and training projects, from the initial
selection process to collaborating with scientific partners.
Prof. Stefano Federici
Scientific Advisor
PhD, Psychologist, Professor of General Psychology and Psychology of Disability at the University of Perugia, and university representative at the Interuniversity Research Center on Cognitive Processing in Natural and Artificial Systems (ECONA). They serve as Scientific Director of the School of Specialization in Expressive Gestalt Psychotherapy in Rome and Perugia, as well as the School of Specialization in Gestalt Psychotherapy of Puglia, and are President of the LoveLife Association for psychoeducational counseling in sexual health.
Their interdisciplinary education and research, developed through work as a philosopher, theologian, special educator, and experimental psychologist, focus on two main scientific macro-areas: technology and the humanities.
Regarding the first area, they work on assistive technologies in collaboration with the Institute for Matching Person & Technology (Webster, USA). Their research has involved the sonification of web platforms, brain–computer interfaces, eye tracking, exoskeletons, chatbots, user experience, and usability in human–computer interaction.
Regarding the second macro-area, their research focuses on cognitive and behavioral processes in people with and without disabilities in the fields of sexuality, gender-based violence, gender attribution, cognitive representations and models of disability, developmental psychology and the architecture of the mind, cognitive decline (Alzheimer’s disease), and specific learning disorders.
Since 2000, they have produced more than 250 scientific publications of national and international relevance and have participated in and led several national and international basic and applied research projects.
